Product Description

Very sweet, productive, and perfect for drying into Paprika...

70 days. Open Pollinated. Heirloom.  This plant get loaded with smallish (3-4" across), squat, very thick walled peppers that start out a creamy white and ripen to yellow, orange, and finally red. At the red stage they are very sweet and good eaten fresh or dried and ground into paprika. These also make lovely stuffed peppers, and are excellent grilled or fried. Easy to grow, relatively early to set a lot of fruits, and great tasting. Making your own paprika is easy: Slice and dry the peppers, grind in a blender, grinder, or food processor, and store in a glass jar with a little rice in the bottom to absorb any moisture. You can also add some dried hot peppers for a spicy version. Home made paprika is much tastier than store bought!
