Product Description

Early, late blight resistant, great tasting red tomato...
68 Days. Determ. OP. Very early variety sets in cool weather and produces plenty of 8 oz. red, tasty tomatoes. Compact plant was bred by Dr. James Baggett at Oregon State University to be late blight resistant. Dr. Baggett should be a hero to all cool area gardeners, (similar to the late Dr. Elwyn Meador from U. of New Hampshire, I think.), as he bred many of the varieties we offer you plus many we don't carry. In these days of corporations profitting from seed genetics and controlling many university breading programs with large donations, Dr. Baggett should stand out as a hero even more. He bred tomatoes mostly for home gardeners in the Pacific Northwest, where cool nights and days limit production. This is one of his best, as it it extremely difficult to find a late blight resistant, open polinated tomato.

We have a 6 plant minimum for shipping purposes. You can mix and match varieties to meet the minimum.

Our plants are sustainably raised in our own potting mix. We use only organic fertilizers and sprays if needed. We have been growing and selling plants since 1997.

Our pepper plants are shipped in individual 3" deep pots. They are usually 4 to 10 inches tall and are ready to be planted out in your garden.

We package our plants with extreme care so they arrive undamaged at your doorstep. Each plant is tucked into its own padded sleeve. The soil in each pot is covered so it will not spill out. A plant tag identifying the variety is included with each plant.

We ship every Monday and Tuesday, from late March into June, according to your location or your request.

We currently ship to every state except Hawaii and Alaska.

We will start shipping in late March, weather permitting. Within 24 hours of receiving your order, we will e-mail you with a shipping date that we choose based on your last frost date. You are welcome to change the date to any other shipping week from late March through May.
